Leipzig start-up Prodlane GmbH enters the next growth phase with MAIA: TGFS Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen is expanding its commitment with follow-on funding, and Sächsische Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (SBG) is joining as a new investor.

Leipzig, 21 July 2026. Almost two years after its first investment, TGFS Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen is strengthening its commitment to MAIA (Prodlane GmbH) and is leading the current round. The reason: the knowledge that technical companies have built up over years is enormously valuable, but hardly accessible in day-to-day work. In industrial companies, the crucial knowledge sits in thousands of product manuals, design documents, instructions for use, test and validation reports, datasheets, standards and project reports, spread across numerous systems and therefore hard to reach. It is not only extensive but also highly complex and deep. This is exactly what MAIA is built for. MAIA unlocks these collections, captures demanding technical relationships and becomes a sparring partner for specialists in solving complex tasks. Instead of time-consuming manual work, teams in development, design and maintenance reach sound decisions faster, especially where the shortage of skilled workers and the pressure to innovate collide most strongly.

With the capital, MAIA is expanding its team in development, sales and marketing and driving further growth across the entire DACH region. “The DACH region is under enormous pressure to innovate and compete, and at the same time there is a shortage of skilled workers everywhere. If you want to succeed here, you finally have to make consistent use of the knowledge you already have. That is exactly what MAIA makes possible, with a clear focus and high answer quality.
